Ascidean builds native iPhone and Mac software that does its work on your device. Nothing to sign up for, no analytics watching you, and anything that has to touch a server is opt-in and kept to the minimum.
How we build
Four commitments we design against
No tracking, no forced sign-up
Our apps work without an account, and they carry no analytics SDKs. When a feature genuinely needs a server, such as syncing with your bank, it is opt-in and we keep only what that feature needs. We would rather know less about you than build a data set we would then have to defend.
Open where we can be
Cashback Counter is open source. A privacy claim is worth exactly as much as your ability to check it, so we publish the code and invite you to read it.
Native, not wrapped
Swift and SwiftUI, built against the current SDK. The app feels like the platform, adopts new system features early, and stays fast on the device in your hand.

Cashback Counter
Juggling several credit cards and never sure which one to hand over? Cashback Counter keeps every card’s reward rules straight, reads your receipts with Apple’s on-device AI, and shows you what you actually earned back. Your records live on your iPhone, and optional Bank Sync can bring new transactions in automatically.
Mac Dynamic Island
Puts the MacBook notch to work: what’s playing with synced lyrics, live progress and permission prompts from Claude Code, Codex and ZCode, clipboard history and a drag-and-drop shelf for files. Your clipboard and your agents’ activity never leave your Mac.
