“Which card do I use here?”
Open the app before you tap. Your cards get ranked for the merchant in front of you, so the best one is never a guess.
Cashback Counter keeps every card’s reward rules straight, reads your receipts with Apple’s on-device AI, and shows what you actually earned back. No account, no ads, and no servers of ours — anywhere.

Live rates for every major currency, plus a separate field for the amount your bank really posted — so exchange-rate spread stops hiding from you.
There is no server to sell it to. No account, no analytics, no upload. The entire source code is public.
Cards ranked by what this specific merchant earns you, using the rules you already entered.
Tiered rates, category stacking, merchant multipliers, region-specific rules, spend caps. Set it once; every transaction is costed automatically.
Photograph a receipt or import a statement. Apple’s on-device model pulls out the merchant, amount, line items and billing cycle — and matches the last four digits to the right card.
Prefilled templates for HSBC, American Express, Chase, Bank of America, ICBC Asia, CNCBI and more. Add a card with its reward structure in one tap.
Every major currency with live exchange rates. Built for people who spend across borders and get billed in something else.
Log a transaction by voice, or straight from a payment screenshot, without ever opening the app.
Most trackers only chart what you spent. This one charts what you got back — monthly, per card, over twelve months.
Tracks the points balance on each card and warns you before anything is about to expire.
Most budgeting apps ask you to hand your financial history to a server you can’t see. Cashback Counter has no server. That isn’t a policy promise — it’s an architectural fact you can verify yourself.

Yes. Receipt parsing, rule matching and every cashback calculation run on your device. The app goes online only to refresh currency exchange rates, pull the shared card-template list and download card artwork — none of which involve your data.
Only if you ask for it. A setting called Cloud AI parsing is off by default; turning it on routes receipt parsing through Apple’s Private Cloud Compute, which is end-to-end encrypted so neither Apple nor we can read it. Separately, iCloud sync is on by default and stores data in your own private CloudKit database — you can disable it in Settings.
No. There is no sign-up, no email, no password. If you want your data on more than one device, it syncs through your own private iCloud — not through us.
Cashback Counter is free and has no ads.
iOS 26 or later. The AI receipt parsing runs on Apple’s on-device Foundation Models, so it needs a device that supports Apple Intelligence; everything else works on any iPhone running iOS 26.
Yes. Transactions and cards export to CSV at any time. It is your data and it is already on your device.
